My kids will (sometimes) eat mashed potato made into various different things e.g. add grated cheese and a bit of nutmeg, egg and GF flour, shape into rounds and fry. First time I made these I marked a smiley face onto the top using a wooden spoon handle and called them tubby toast! 2 year old loved them! Another favourite is fishcakes - mashed potato, tuna, salmon or smoked mackerel, dollop of mayonnaise, GF flour. You can shape them into fish if it helps. Cheese straws made by mixing cheese into any GF pastry mix; eggy bread, with or without marmite. Mind you, having said all that, these worked with my older daughter but the younger one is now down to sausages, marmite sandwiches, toast and bananas!

Some sort of risotto. Pizza cut into strips. Chips, McCain’s Smiley faces. Shaped Pasta in some sort of sauce. Baked beans, boiled egg and fingers of toast, don’t know if a toddler can manage a boiled egg without eating the shell!! Bowl of cereal. Yoghurt. Homemade banana muffins, carrot cake. Yummy! I made a wonderful carrot cake and the twins wouldn’t eat it, as they couldn't get their heads around the idea that it has vegetables in it. Even though they both eat carrots anyway. I even called it Passion Cake but unfortunately older daughter let the "secret ingredient be known. I had to eat it all!! It didnt taste any different to non gluten free carrot cake I've had in the past.
I have had four children and none of them have ever eaten much for lunch. We used to worry about it, but the older are now big strapping teenagers.

Lauren likes to eat sandwiches mostly for lunch so i make sure the fillings are varied. Ham&cucumber and shes partial to corned beef and cheese.
She also likes the rice snacks from asda and there only 89p. pretty much like a pot noodle snack for a quicky.
Beans and sausages on toast or scrambled egg.
she eats muller jellies, yoghurt, or some fruit if im lucky & kinder chocolate or egg for a treat afterwards.
Shes recently moved on to things like Sausage rolls and bacon slices which i mail-order from Lifestyle.

Jacket potatoes are still tops in my house for lunch.
Otherwise, my daughter likes crispbreads or little crackers from Bi Aglut - available on prescription. She's gone off all the GF bread at the moment!!!!! and soups too!!
re: packed lunches -
if you get glutafin fresh bread you can make sandwiches as normal. As I understand it bread is more nutritionally complete for growing children than rice crackers etc. I put babybel cheeses in my daughters lunch box plus fruit, GF yoghurt/jelly etc. Lots of crisps are GF if you want to include these. There are also rice crackers which make an alternative to crisps. You can get plain and savoury biscuits on prescription (including digestives) and can buy chocolate biscuits etc at supermarkets such as Tesco. On days that I work when I want her to have a hot meal at lunchtime I use an unbreakable food flask which works well. I fill it with spaghetti bolognese/stew/pasta & sauce which I make and freeze individual portions. I think there is a page on the supp board with ideas for packed lunches.

What about fruit winders? Lauren lovesd them.
muller jelly, fruits salads(strawberries, grapes, apple and melon) mix and match to keep it different.
Crisps as a treat now and then, biscuits also, its good some of them come in packs of 2.
Capri-sun drinks are great for packed lunches. they come in loads of flavours and keep cool enough till lunchtime.
mix and match with sandwiches and rolls and keep the filling changing all the time. Lauren likes ham, cheese, and tuna mayo but i make it differnt with various salad fillings.
Muffins as a treat now and then. And Tescos free-from bars are great. they've got 4 different flavours in my local tesco, chocolate, chocolate and mixed fruit, cinnemon and fruit, and another ive forgotton and havent got around to trying yet.
they are pretty much like cereal bars.
