Also, what about PKU patients, they have NHS prescription items, will they be next to have prescription cuts?:

Actaully, I doubt if they will cut PKU prescriptions (child patients, small number of them etc) there would be a public outcry if they cut PKU scrips.

However, the principle is the same, they are cutting patient foods for a medical condition when they cut GF items for coeliacs.
