I get hardly any prescriptions because Josh doesn't actually eat much GF stuff - and if I can purchase the alternative in a supermarket I will - but we are lucky that we can afford that and realise other people are not.
The things I do get are things for Joshs school dinners - pizza bases/bagettes/pitta breads/nan bread as they like these things to have been prescribed not bought (in case they get spot checked by the LA )
Personally I think a cash allowance each week would be a better option to enable people to be able to buy either the GF foods (or in our case extra meat/veg) and it should be means tested
