Hi all, thought you might be interested to hear of a great all-inclusive holiday in Malta that's gf - I went on my honeymoon in March this year - it was fabulous! The website of the hotel is: www.hotelfortina.com/restaurants.html The restaurant is Qui-si-sana - some of the set menus can be a little small but if you pay a small supplement you can choose from the a la carte menu which is great. You can have your breakfast, lunch, dinner in the restuarant - it isin't open on a Sunday but the buffet restaurant was ok too - the chef went through what i could eat. I think about 3 travel agents have this hotel in their brochures - I booked through Sunway, in Dublin, Ireland. regards Helen

Malta From Helen ...I had THE BEST gf holiday ever there, it was just super. Most times on holiday I just resign myself that despite my best efforts I will get glutened, but not in Malta. 2 years ago I stayed in the Fortina Spa Hotel www.fortinaspa.com/ which had a health restaurent in it, called Qui Si Sana. It was an all inclusive package. I could eat breakfast lunch and dinner there and I didn't have any problems. The all inclusive meals were a bit small but for about 15 euro more you could have a much bigger dinner and choice. Even more amazing in the supermarket across the road they had 2 types of gf beer! - Biaglut beer. I emailed the Maltese coeliac society before I went and they were super, they sent me a list of snackfood that was gf, as well as a good restuarant list. Even their supermarkets had amazing gf food sections in Sliema, with lots of Italian gf food ..... **************** ....another spot in Malta is Floyds Place,33 Paceville Street GF Pizzas etc... coeliac.ie/webboards/viewtopic.php?t=910.
