Just stayed in Vaison La Romaine near Avignon in Provence and had good experiences whilst shopping for food. Found Some Free To Enjoy biscuits in Intermarche - pricey but nice and also chocolate coconut macaroons like Mrs Crimbles - three different sizes and not expensive at all. The best was SuperU supermarket who had a whole section of GF food. It was in the Dietetic section with the Bio food. They had ready made bread, bread mixes, pasta, chocolate biscuits, crackers, couscous made from rice and mini cakes. Most were by Allergo or Valpiform. Also found that most of the independant health food shops had GF crackers including ones which were made from sarracin (buckwheat) and also pasta. All in all a much better experience than I had anticipated.Amelie Po
