Cruise - superb GF Catering & Hotel in Tenerife

We have just returned from a Canary Island Cruise with the Thomson Celebration - how well looked after we were! We notified Thomson holidays prior to our arrival of our 3 Coeliacs in the family and upon arrival on the ship, got an invite to see the Maitre d' who introduced us to the Head Waiters in both restaurants. They knew us by name on the first day and always looked out for us and checked that everything was ok for us.
We ate in both the buffet restaurant (for breakfast & lunches) and waiter service for our evening meal. Nothing was too much trouble - they did our own GF menu in the evening and adapted most things on the menu to be made GF if it wasn't already. They provided GF bread and pasta and brought GF pancakes for us for breakfast without us asking. Only thing they didn't do was afternoon tea - cakes or sandwiches although they did have a supply of GF biscuits which they provided us with if needed (!) I am sure if we had asked for some GF sandwiches then they would have made them but there is only so much you can eat!!
We had taken a couple of pizza bases and they made pizza for the children for lunches a couple of times.
They bent over backwards - we have never known service like it and will definitely return!
For our 2nd week, we stayed in the Guaraymina Princess Hotel in Tenerife. Again, we were looked after - they provided GF bread, cakes, croissants & pain chocolats for breakfast, cooked food seperately if necessary and helped by pointing out which foods were ok for us. We had taken our own pasta and they produced some lovely GF pasta dishes for us.
We flew with Thomson Airlines and had GF meals on both flights.
Very, very satisfied with the service we all received on this holiday.
