Compagnie des Wagons-Lits /Eurostar
Beautiful landscapes, comfortable trains and tasty food: Compagnie des Wagons-Lits makes your journeys into moments to be savoured.
In addition, if you book at least 48 hours prior to departure, you can choose one of our special menus (for children, vegetarians, diabetics, gluten-free or salt-free).
The Supply Centre teams are especially attentive to the transport of catering products served on board trains.

Gf board
I promised to report back on Eurostar's GF provision.
We got an el cheapo first class ticker so I am not sure what happens in standard class. We had breakfast on the way to Brussels - they replaced my sausage with bacon and gave me some (dreadful) GF bread. But they were pleasant and organised and the omlette was pretty edible.
On the way back I had salmon and some cucumber thing with a cream sauce and then fish, rice and veges with fruit salad.
It really is only step up from airline food but overall it was pretty satisfactory.
The whole experience was much easier than flying that's for sure.

GF board
Travelled by Eurostar for an overnight stay in Paris last week and managed to get a good deal on my return leg of the journey by travelling Leisure Select class (this includes food & drink service).
Did not expect much on the gluten free side but was delighted to see that you can specify a gluten free meal in advance.
Still, on board, I must admit I was expecting a salad at most however I had a very pleasant cheese salad to start, a hot chicken meal for main and a fruit salad for dessert. Truly did enjoy the whole experience (have complimented Eurostar personally) and will definitely look into Leisure Select in future.
