Just come back from Barcelona and had the best GF holiday ever. I'd looked on the Supp board before I went and this is what I've found after having been.
The GF pizza at Pizza Leggera is fab - loads of choices of pizzas, two types of pasta available (tortellini and canneloni) and salads to die for. They offer a take out service as well as the restaurant. Pizzas were 12 euros but were rather large and well worth the money.
Bought GF Estrella Damm beer in the basement food hall at El Corte Ingles as well as bringing loads of GF food home. There was bread, pasta, cakes, biscuits, cereal - all the usual stuff. Makes by Procelli, Beiker, Lovemore and others. No dearer than here and lots of different things to try.
Best of all was Conesa which is a take out sandwich shop. The do GF paninis to order and if you ask for GF they clean everything down whilst you wait and all the other customers have to wait too as they do your GF order soley so nothing gets contaminated. They don't open on Sundays but open from early til well past 9pm on all other days. On average they cost about 3.50 euros and were gorgeous - masses of choice of fillings too.
There was mention of Els Fanals', Rambla de Catalunya, 13 (Gran Via) 08007, Barcelona on Supp from a while back but it's no longer there.
All in all a wonderful experience - links below and I'll post this on Supp too.
