Can anyone tell me where this Quay Co op is in Cork please. (from Corkgirl)
( Coeliac Society of Ireland Forum)
Hello Corkgirl. fellow corkgirl here. The quay co-op is not too hard to find if you come at it from the grand parade. Take the nano nagle footbridge at the top of the grand parade and turn right. The co-op is across the street at little way up. If you reach South gate bridge and Fordes pub you've gone too far!

The Quay Co-op Vegetarian Restaurant has been serving Cork since 1982. The restaurant is self-service. We can seat 85 customers in three rooms. We open at 9.00am daily and serve breakfast until 12 noon. From 12 noon to 9.00pm, we serve a full menu - you can have anything from a three course dinner to a simple cup of coffee. We permit smoking in one room only. Our menu provides an extensive range of Vegan, Gluten-free and dairy-free choices www.quaycoop.com/rest.html

From Robbie on Coeliac Society of Ireland forum:
I was recently out in Eason's in Cork city and I noticed that the restaurant upstairs in the store is coeliac friendly. They do GF soup, sandwiches etc., as well as standard, sugar-free and dairy-free bread. The GF sandwich was quite tasty!

Bagels, Dublin . Table, Brown Thomas, Cork. Posted by davidmc on 14/1/2007 GF board Re: Bagels I don't know but if you are ever in central Dublin you can get GF bagels with GF fillings at Itsabagel outlets. I had one filled with coronation chicken last time and it was a real treat. Link: www.itsabagel.com/index1.php And there is also a similar restaurant in Sandymount Dublin on the site . ...I was checking out the website and I see that there is a related outlet in the upmarket department Brown Thomas in Cork called "Table" and that they cater for veggies and coeliacs. I expect that quality will be good in there as Brown Thomas is to Ireland what Harrods is to Knightsbridge.
