Liver and Onions Village Style
Ingredients: Half a pound of liver, (chicken or pork is used alot here in Bulgaria) 1 med Onion 3 cloves of garlic half teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons 'savoury' (its called chubrika in Bulgaria) 1 tablespoon cooking oil (normally Sunflower here) 2 tomatoes 4oz sliced mushrooms
Method: Chop everything up small except the liver which is quite large cubes. Throw it all in a frying pan until the liver is pink and the onions are cooked. Serve normally with cheesy chips (perjeni kartofi c cirene)
