i have personally had no problems eating certain main courses from 2 Chinese Takeaways in Exeter. I would recommend Wans-Buddle Lane & Choys-in Wonford, both been sympathetic to my needs. Leaving out the Soy Sauce(which i add myself). Try King Prawn and Duck Fried Rice (no soy sauce, no bbq sauce) with sweet and sour sauce, beautiful. Chadni is the Best Indian in Exeter without a doubt, and i've tried most of them. Had a funny stomach after eating from the Light of India, couldn't have been Gluten Free? should of asked. After 13 years,i still get complacent and make mistakes. Normal people dont know how lucky they are?

Posted by Eileen on 28/12/2003 on GF board in reply to "Good Sunday Lunch" Glad you had such a good meal, etc. at the golf club. I went to a wedding 18 months ago at Exeter Golf Club, which is that far away from Taunton either, and they too were extremely helpful. They even sought me out, quietly, which I really appreciated, and doubled checked on what they were providing that was GF. It meant so much and I wrote to them afterwards thanking them. ******************************************* Exeter Golf & Country Club, Topsham Road, Countess Wear, Exeter, Devon, EX2 7AE www.golftoday.co.uk/clubhouse/co ... xeter.html
