Wonderful lunch in Cornwall. Posted by May on 21/3/2009 GF board Being such a beautiful day today we decided on a day out in Cornwall. Armed as usual with my Eat Natural bar and two slices of Juvela bread in my handbag we set out. We were walking around Launceston and came across a fabulous cafe that caters very well for gluten free. They are very friendly and extremely clued up on GF. There is a whole page in the menu for GF. I'll give the link lower down the page. I had ham and tomato quiche with salad and home made bread, and then fruit scone with clotted cream and jam. All the food, pasties, cake, bread etc are made on the premises and also can be ordered by phone for pick up to take home. Highly recommended and we plan to go back again. The cafe prices are very reasonable too. Well worth a visit, and such a pleasure to know you don't have to explain your dietry needs, it really does lift that stress and worry that we all have when eating out. www.the-madhatters.co.uk 28 Church St, Launceston, Cornwall, PL15 8AR 01566 774634 WWW.GLUTENFREEFOOD.ORG.UK
