If anyone is near Braintree Essex check out Fowlers farm for a place to eat.The staff don't get those confused looks on their faces when you mention gluten free and know where to get the right info for you. And! you get a choice of meals including dessert! Not too expensive either-try it!

Parrishes - Thaxted, Essex Posted by Graham GF board CHEF IS A COELIAC. Went there with family today, almost by default as the Tea Room and Under Milk Wood have both sadly closed down. One of the 4 of us is allergic to gluten, and the extensive menus contain many GF options. Apart from hot meals, the GF options include a cheesecake with a fruit compote, and a chocolate brownie. Between us we had one hot meal, paninis and toasted tea cakes. Not cheap, but well worth a visit. parrishes.co.uk/
