GF board
Just had about the worst holiday ever in Scotland, it rained incessantly for 2 weeks, the only thing that redeemed this hoilday was the above resturant. it was amazing, i just popped in for a drink to sus it out, ended sitting on the sofa enjoying a chat with the chef on the best way to make GF gravy! he was certainly clued up. he does the cooking himself, but has a young lad he designates to do preparation and presentation etc ensure it all stays free of contamination. we subsequently ate out there 3 times. Good home cooked meal, traditional and not over fancy. good choice of starters but only ice cream for dessert, but was very good local ice cream. the service was excellant too, hubby enjiyed the real ales on tap whilst i enjoyed the wine!! I reall wish id discovered this place earlier in my holiday and i would have eaten there more. ...
