Just back from a soggy camping trip to the Isle of Bute. When tent life became impossible we chose to eat in "THE WATERFRONT BISTRO" in Rothesay. The meals were all cooked from scratch to everybody's needs and chef came to make sure that all the ingredients he was using for my meal were safe. He was also aware on cross contamination issues. I had a fabulous meal then the icing on the cake.....the waitress came out with an Almond torte in a box, saying she thought it looked ok but did I want to check the ingredients list. I felt so well looked after and really enjoyed myself knowing that the staff in this wonderful lttle bistro really did undertand dietry needs. Well done to the Waterfront Bistro and if any of you are ever on the Isle of Bute.....you've got to go there!
