Spiced Biscuits

The recipe for Spiced biscuits is from Allergy free Food £3.99 at The Works (bargain bookshop) I have adapted the recipe to suit my tastes, there is less sugar, more spice and more mash in mine.
Spiced Biscuits (makes 15)
125g/4oz butter/vegetarian marg 25g/1oz sugar (add more if you have sweet tooth) 75g/3oz mashed potato 175g/6oz brown rice flour 50g/2oz sultans/raisins(I usually add a few more) 2 teaspoons of mixed spice
Oven 180C (350F) Gas mark 4
Cream butter and sugar, then add the potato. Add flour, sultanas/raisins, mixed spice and mix well. Take small handfulls, roll into ball and flatten slightly. Place on greased baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
Be warned, they are gorgeous and the temptation to eat them straight from oven is overwhelming lol
