Fake jam doughnuts

I just made some fake jam doughnuts the recipe probably needs tweeking but they tasted good. I made some of the doves farm bread flour mixed with water and some milk and sugar into a thick paste (easy enough to handle to with a knife). Dollop a bit on to a hot frying pan, then put on some jam followed by another dollop of the paste. Make sure that the jam is covered and does not leak. Cook on both sides.
For the mum with the jaffa cake issue this tasted great with marmalade in the middle and then dipped in chocolate.
